EXTEND RGB OR DIGITAL VIDEO, KEYBOARD, MOUSE,
SERIAL, AND AUDIO SIGNALS UP TO 1,000 METERS OVER 2 STRANDS
OF FIBER! The KVM X-tender is the
most flexible desktop extension system on the market! The
video source can be either Analog (RGBHV) or Digital (DVI),
a first in the industry. There is support for keyboard/mouse
and serial (RS232) as well as stereo audio. All signals
are digitized and transmitted over two fibers, then reconstituted
transparently by the receiver. The KVM X-tender has a convenient
front panel display and controls for selection of desired
video format. All connections are standard so no special
cabling is required.
THE FREEDOM TO UPGRADE YOUR EQUIPMENT
WITHOUT HAVING TO CHANGE YOUR EXTENSION SYSTEM!
With the KVM X-tender you can change your
video input without impacting your monitor or projector.
If you upgrade your source to digital video you can still
use your analog monitor or projector. Conversely, even if
your source video is analog you can upgrade your monitors
to digital flat panels. No longer do you have to deal with
the inconvenience, downtime, and expense of replacing everything
at once. The KVM X-tender permits you to upgrade equipment
systematically and with minimal disruption to your work
environment.
REPLACE YOUR CURRENT EXTENDERS AND
ADD USERS WITHOUT ADDING MORE FIBER!
If you are currently using fiber to extend
your desktop signals you may be using four or more fibers
per link. Replacing your present extension systems with
the KVM X-tender may allow you to increase your current
number of users without increasing your fiber infrastructure,
saving you time and money!
