SECURELY MANAGE YOUR NETWORK RESOURCES

The Sentinel 32 is a high performance console port management solution incorporating OpenSSH for secure authentication and encryption, and support for DHCP networks. The administrator assigns each user’s access rights. Users can then connect to only the devices they are authorized to access.

LOCAL, NETWORK, AND REMOTE ACCESS FLEXIBILITY

When access to network devices is crucial, the Sentinel 32 provides management of serial console ports directly through the network or from a local terminal. Remote access is achieved via SSH, PPP or through an external modem. The access flexibility of the Sentinel 32 make it perfectly suited to management of remote server installations.

SERVER MONITORING SPEEDS DIAGNOSTICS

The Sentinel 32 provides a 256K FIFO buffer for each device port providing a 400+ screen audit trail to assist with diagnostics should an attached device fail. By allowing access to original panic messages problems can be quickly corrected and downtime reduced. The Sentinel 32 is fault tolerant and will not cause attached devices to fail should the secure console server lose power. The design of the Sentinel 32 provides isolation between the user terminal and the server or device, eliminating the terminal as a point of failure.
