The Digital Desktop System enables IT professionals to relocate a user's computer up to 2,600 feet (800 meters) away while still providing the user the same PC experience.
This enables secured centralization of PC resources.
The basic system consists of a host card (PCI Add In Card), interconnecting Fiber link and a Desktop Appliance.
The Digital Desktops System is composed of a desktop appliance, PCI add-in card, and an administration interface utility, DWorks.
DWorks is an optional use software administration utility to provide additional functionality and further flexibility for remote management.

- Layer 2 Ethernet protocol -
The link between the Desktop Appliance and Host card uses Layer 2 Ethernet protocol.
This enables IT managers to implement a cost effective centralized management system using the DWorks administration interface utility.
Support of centralized Network configurations enables administration features
such as scanning the network for Digital Desktop devices, device status, device power control,
centralized flash upgrade and the ability to link user to PC.
- Multi-monitor Support -
Appliance supports up to 2 monitors utilizing the on-board video controller.
Larger multi-monitor configurations can be supported by utilizing the Appliance PCI slot.
Support for up to 8 monitors available with additional PCI graphics card.
- Maintain End-User Flexibility -
The PC user can now have the full and extensive range of PC peripheral control
without having the PC at the desk.
This is an extension solution without compromises.
