The Avocent® DSR1021 KVM switch is specifically designed for IT administrators
who need to easily troubleshoot, reboot or even power cycle servers or serial devices
in branch offices, avoiding the need for costly on-site service calls.
The 8-port DSR1021 switch expands the Avocent DS Series patented,
field-proven KVM over IP technology and is managed by new DSView® 3 software.
The DSR1021 switch includes external modem support, so IT administrators
can manage remote devices if the network is down.
Combined with DSView3 software, SNMP and IPMI support, and a Web browser,
the DSR1021 switch provides one-screen, BIOS-level control of your branch offices’ servers,
routers and DSUs. Hub and spoke failover capability allows users to authenticate
when a primary server is unavailable.
